The Subconscious Shackles

There is a you hidden beneath the surface.

You will grow to meet the demand, meaning that you are only as skillful as you are required to be.

Even on a biological level, your brain begins to create new pathways and reward the production of the neurons necessary for the activity, further incentivizing the process.

Only through doing the work will you discover what you are capable of.

But instead, you refuse the strain and deny your growth.

Remaining stagnant.

Never surmount your current abilities, ensuring the inexistence of your legacy.

If you try, you might fail, but if you don't, you already have.

You will die someday.

The only way to stay alive is by leaving behind something bigger than yourself and stronger than your death.

There's a timer running, and building something bigger than you will only get harder as you constrict the time frame.

Understand that discomfort is the price you pay to acquire the skills you need.

Life is not for comfort; it is for sacrifice.

A sacrifice that creates life in others and yourself.

Or you can accept the comfort of stagnation and let death come prematurely.

You either go through the pain of growth or the pain of decomposition.

Choose your pain, but don't kid yourself thinking that a life of comfort is not painful. It is a dishonest mistress. It disguises itself as peace and tranquility, smiles and relaxation.

But it will deny you of your purpose, and that is nothing short of hell.

So, while it may feel fine and calm, you will never stop feeling that void.

You must force yourself to grow and remove the self-imposed limitations.

Ability is simply allowing yourself to iterate until it works.

What you cannot do is self-imposed.

There was once a time when a man could not fly.

You are subconsciously living out a myth of who you are.

You need to edit that according to what you want.

How will you find a wife of value if you believe all women are inferior?

Or a husband of value when you believe all men are power-greedy monsters who seek to subdue the world to their will?

How will you act like a gentleman when you see yourself as a pig?

You need to understand you are not either. It is not a condition of yes or no but an aim. It is a progression you must climb.

Your subconscious myth dictates the life you live.

Stop trying to force an outward manifestation of something that is not within you.

Success comes from within, and if somehow you stumble upon success by sheer luck, you will never be able to enjoy it or flourish because your inner self is not great.

You will never be rich if you believe that money is scarce because how could you possibly come across 600 million when that is 10,000x your income? How can you amass in one lifetime what would've taken you 10,000 years? Especially working in the same field? It's all possible if you play with the proper leverage, but you must understand that.

Your mindset must be one of abundance.

But more on that next week.
